Bob Marley is a legend and a hero to me. This album has a lot of great work on it and my only criticism is that by having so much familiarity with the original masters, these sound too compressed, and harsh in the treble by comparison. Some of the earthy soul of the recordings suffers but, that aside, it is still a great value, and the live tracks are a blessing.

I must have only heard this song on the radio or tv before now because I can hear details I don't remember. It makes it sound like a live performance.

This is the real music we are missing today. No one could ever replace Bob Marley. This is feel good music. He poured his soul out into this song and you can feel it in your soul too. Don't hesitate to buy this song. R.I.P Marley

buy any cd by marley, but make sure you pick up the delightfully chill song three little birds (everything's gonna be alright), marley is quite possibly one of the best muscians and humanitarians to have ever lived.

To keep making songs after everything he's been through, you have to feel his music. I don't think it's possible not to. This is probrably his best, forget his greatest hits this has everything you can want.

  • The Best That Has Been, Is, Or Ever Shall Be

He wrote this after being shot, moving halfway across the world, and leaving his family, and it shows. Look at Exodus, Keep On Moving, and Turn Your Lights Down Low for evidence that he missed his family. Each song has its purpose, and they all come together to create a concept album of epic proportions. This is, in shourt, the greatest reggae album ever produced. Unless Damien or some new face comes along with a perfect message at the perfect time put to the perfect song, then this album CANNOT be replaced by another.
