I prefer this over the original. Original is too slow for my taste.
lame a rooni
What does your musical taste span a nano second? If you want to drink from the well of knowledge then drink deep! go out and buy the original of this song by Little willie john. He also penned "Fever" as well. This version is like Pat Boone doing Little Richard! Jeeesh what dribble!
Love the Music, Hate the Vocals
I love Jack's guitar and songwriting skills. The White Stripes worked because, in his words, it was a joke between him and Meg that they kept going as long as possible. The Raconteurs work because Jack takes a backseat vocally. Deadweather and his solo career does not enthrall me because he insists on singing. He is an aquired taste and has a throwback style, but others have been able to refine their vocal chords to sound more polished. White seems content sounding like a wailing banshee, and if that is all he is ever going to have to offer, I can't get behind this or Deadweather.

Jack is back!!!! We need a White Stripes Reunion/Album again soon! Was your finest hours Jack---The White Stripes!
The Miser Brothers song :)
By Mod Girl
I know this sounds dorky but I can't help but be reminded of the Heat Miser/Snow Miser song from The Year Without a Santa Claus whenever I hear the chorus of this song; specifically, the guitar riff.
Saw him for the third time two weeks ago. He is aweosme. Not a sell out like some people say. This isn't the White Stripes anymore.
Great Little Willie John cover- check out the original

Good for Jack, he knows where he's coming from and maybe this will turn some of his younger listeners on to the source material. Little willie John "I'm Shakin'" 1960 on the King label, great tune.
Good song; the title for the B-Side is wrong
Both songs are amazing, but the title for the b-side is incorrect - it's Blues on Two Trees, not Blue on Two Trees.
I'm Shakin' is a classic cover, and Blues on Two Trees could be likened to The Beatles' Revolution 9 - bizarre but enticing and exciting. Love it!
Should Be A Hit

This song is outstanding. Great version. It would be nice if radio actually played rock music or current rock music. Really don't need to hear Boston or Kansas ever again. Why can't radio play new, good, music? Best record of the year.
My Blunderbuss favorite
"I'm Shakin'" has easily been my favorite since day one of Jack White's "Blunderbuss" release. With a Bo Diddley beat and nod to "Fever," it celebrates all that is good about rock.
